Vaucluse Residence I

This project involved major alterations and additions to turn an existing residence into a four level, five bedroom and four-bathroom home.

We faced a number of challenges with technical demolition, which required us to hold up parts of the existing structure while excavating underneath. The difficult access to the site was most challenging, as sections of the site are 35m back from, and five stories above, the street. The project demanded efficient planning and the use of a site crane for nine months.

The works also involved complicated steel and concrete structural framing, glass walls, doors and windows.
