It’s the end of another successful year at Horizon. Our 32nd year in a row, and we have all the people that supported us throughout the year, and throughout the years, to thank for it.
2021 has obviously not been without its challenges. Some we expected, others we did not. But more than three decades of realtionships, some great people inside our firm and all around us, and solid systems and our own unique culture have enabled us to not only survive, but thrive!
Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves with the awesome responsibility, faith and trust we are so privileged to be charged with. Whether building from scratch, a major renovation, or just a quick fix-up entails becoming the custodian of a family’s home – a place where a family unit grows, relatives and friends are entertained, and ultimately a place where memories have been and will be made.
We try and make every decision as if it was our own home, because ultimately it is. For us to have a sustainable business, all our stakeholders have to love building as much as we do, not just love what we produce by the end. We simply love building. This drives every decision we make. And we never, ever, take that trust for granted. I could not be prouder of our team – not just for the work they produced in our office, on our sites large and small, and in the homes we upkeep, but for the way that they did it – overcoming adversity with an amazing positive can-do attitude, remarkable resilience, and an unflinching will to always find a way to win.
Once again – thank you all for your support, and we at Horizon are looking forward to working together with you again in 2022 and well beyond!
